Green Building Projects
From rainwater harvesting to natural ventilation and radiant space conditioning systems in universities and conference centers, Interface has a wide base of project experience in green building consulting. In fact, our design team designed the mechanical and electrical systems and provided energy analysis for the first LEED® Gold Certified building on the west coast, at the Ecotrust Jean Vollum Natural Capital Center in Portland. The projects for which we have provided consulting services are not just one type of building, but rather span the range of building types: offices, K-12 schools, higher education facilities, housing projects, and more. And, the experts at Interface have not only designed sustainable systems for "Green" projects. Rather, we have also been involved in consulting services during the LEED® certification and registration processes, and have one of the national LEED® Trainers on staff, a valuable resource to our project teams.
