Industrial Electrical Engineering

At Interface, we recognize that industrial facilities have significantly different requirements from commercial facilities. In the electrical design of commercial facilities, the emphasis is on energy efficiency, personal comfort, and personal productivity. In the design of industrial facilities, the emphasis is on the manufacturing process - functionality, efficiency, reliability, and expandability. With that in mind, we have an Industrial Electrical Engineering Group that consists of individuals well-versed in power, control and instrumentation systems as they relate to the processes encountered in industrial facilities. Our industrial group is comprised of professional engineers and senior designers, each with over 20 years of experience with engineering, designing, and implementing industrial projects. We provide pre-design/planning; system design and specification; and construction support and administration. These projects have included all aspects of electrical systems, instrumentation systems, and control systems associated mainly with water and wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, lift stations, wells, booster stations and reservoirs. We provide:
- SCADA/Telemetry System Planning and Design Solutions
- PLC-based or relay-based control systems
- Power and Distribution System Design
- Motor Control Design
- Power Quality Design Measures for Harmonics and RFI Mitigation
- Process Instrumentation System Design
- Electrical System Solutions
- Industrial Lighting Design
- Industrial Security and Surveillance Systems
